Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘The festivals of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy assemblies, these are My festivals.’” It is written, “And God called the light, ‘Day.’” The light that was in the beginning illuminated from the end of the world to its end. When the Creator looked at the wicked who were destined to stand in the world, He concealed the light for the righteous in the future, as it is written, “And their light will be withheld from the wicked, and it is written, “Light is sown for the righteous.”

95. “And God called the light, ‘Day,’ and to the darkness He called ‘night.’” It is written, “Let there be light”; it is a light that already was. But here, does light mean only day, which is only ZA? However, it is written, “and to the darkness He called ‘night,’” which is Malchut, who is called “night,” and ZA is not called “light” unless when Malchut, who is called “night,” is with him.

Can it be that each of them is alone, without a coupling with each other? However, it is written, “And there was evening and there was morning, one day,” for there is no night without a day and no day without a night. This means that there is no wholeness to ZA unless when he is in a coupling with Malchut, and there is no wholeness in Malchut unless when she is in a coupling with ZA. They are called “one” only when they are in one coupling. The Creator and the assembly of Israel, which are ZA and Malchut, are called “one,” and one without the other, they are not called “one.”

96. Since the assembly of Israel is in exile now, they are seemingly not called “one.” They will be called “one” when Israel come out of exile and the assembly of Israel returns to her place to make a coupling with the Creator, as it is written, “In that day, the Lord will be one and His name, One.” One without the other is not called “one.”

97. “The festivals of the Lord, which you shall proclaim,” to summon everyone to one place, since the festivals of the Lord are HGT of ZA, and they must be summoned to one place, Malchut, so that all will be in wholeness, in one matter. When HGT of ZA connect with Malchut, they are called “one.” When Israel below are one nation in the land, the Creator will be in a coupling with the assembly of Israel, Malchut, and will be called “one.” However, Israel below, when they are corrected like ZA and Malchut above, with what will they be called “one”?

98. In Jerusalem of below, Israel are called “one” when they dwell in it. It is written, “Who is like Your people, like Israel, one nation in the land?” In the Land of Israel and in Jerusalem, they are one nation. With her, they are called “one,” and not when they are alone, for it would have been enough for it to be written, “Who is like Your people, like Israel, one nation?” so why is it written, “Who is like Your people, like Israel, one nation in the land”? It is because they were called “one” only in the land, in connection with this land. As it is above, ZA is not called “one” unless when connected with Malchut, who is called “earth.” For this reason, everything is connected to one another in one coupling, both above and below; happy are Israel.

94.
