On the night of the fourteenth, at the time of the coupling of the moon, Malchut is in \u200ewholeness with the sun, ZA, and the lower Sefirot of the shells are not so present in the \u200eworld since during the renewal of the moon, bad kinds are present and awaken to spread in the world. But when the coupling of the moon is wholly in the \u200elight of the sun, all the shells gather in one place and hide, and the sanctity of the king \u200eawakens. Then it is as it is written, \u201cA night of watching unto the Lord,\u201d since the holy coupling is present and \u200ekept in everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
133. For this reason, the correction of the bride, Malchut, is on the fourteenth day. And on \u200ethe night of the fifteenth is the populating of the house, the coupling of ZON. Woe unto those \u200ewho are not from the household, who do not adhere to Malchut when the laws [Torahs] come to make a coupling together\u2014the written Torah, ZA, and the oral Torah, Malchut. Woe unto \u200ethose who are not known to them. For this reason, the holy Israel, ZON, establish for them a house, meaning a coupling, \u200ethrough the whole of the fourteenth day. And through them, the Mochin that need the coupling of ZON enter, ZON are happy, and they both \u200esing. Happy are Israel in this world and in the next world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
134. On that night, a high and holy coupling awakens. It is written, \u201cThis night is a night of watching unto \u200ethe Lord, for all the children of Israel throughout their generations.\u201d \u201cWatching,\u201d a coupling of the moon and the sun, Malchut and ZA. \u201cFor all the children of Israel \u200ethroughout their generations,\u201d that henceforth, Israel are united and tied in the connection of the \u200eholy name, and have come out of the other authority. For this reason, they correct \u200ethemselves on the fourteenth day, uproot the leaven from among them, and enter the domain \u200eof holiness. Then the groom and bride, ZA and Malchut, are crowned with the crowns of upper \u200eIma, Bina, and one must see oneself as free, since the Mochin of upper Ima is called freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The renewal of the moon indicates the diminution of the moon, Malchut. The great coupling of ZON on Passover night is because the Torah commanded cessation of \u200esourdough and offering of the Passover sacrifice on the fourteenth day. We find no such thing on \u200eany eve of a good day. Hence, this means that it is a preparation for the coupling at night.
