It is written, “Then shall the trees of the wood sing before the Lord,” since He came to judge the earth. Happy are those who engage in Torah day and night, who know the ways of the Creator and unite in His name. Woe to those who do not engage in Torah, for they have no part in the holy name and they do not unite with Him, not in this world and not in the next world. One who is rewarded with Torah in this world is rewarded with it in the next world.

146. On Passover, Israel offered the yield of the earth, the Omer. The yield of the earth is the illumination of Malchut, called “earth.” They engaged in it and connected in a connection. Although there is judgment, the judgment is in peace, and they offered barley, as it is the first among all the grains, since the first grip that Israel gripped to the Creator is here. The Creator said, “I am giving you manna in the desert, from a place called “heaven,” ZA,” as it is written, “Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you,” and you will offer before Me barley, Malchut.

On Passover night, Malchut was in a coupling face-to-face with ZA in complete Gadlut [adulthood/greatness]. However, this was through the awakening from above in order to bring Israel out of Egypt. He skipped over the end for fear that Israel might assimilate in Egypt. For this reason, these Mochin could not persist. After Passover night, Malchut returned to her Katnut [smallness/infancy] in order to build her by an awakening from below through Israel. Since Malchut is from the left line, the first commandment of sacrificing the Omer offering is the offering of barley, for barley is the illumination of Malchut from the left line, from Hochma without Hassadim, which is judgment, food for beasts, which are extended from the left.

However, with the wave [aka Omer] offering, whose illumination is waved from below upward, and then the seven Sefirot HGT NHYM are extended to her from ZA, where each consists of seven, by this it obtains an equal level to a coupling face-to-face on the fiftieth day, on the festival of Shavuot, when the second offering is sacrificed, the wheat offering, a new offering, for all of her forty-nine Sefirot have been renewed by ZA.

The yield of the earth is the illumination of Malchut, called “earth.” They would engage in offering it and waving it, and corrected that that illumination, Hochma without Hassadim, would shine only by waving, from below upward. By this, they tied Malchut in the first tie to ZA, the middle line, which corrects the left line through peace with the right, so it will shine only from below upward. Although there is judgment, as it is Hochma without Hassadim, the judgment is at peace, as it is in the correction of the waving, waving its illumination from below upward, which is the correction of peace of the middle line, by which it makes peace between the lines, so they will be incorporated in one another.

Hence, by this, it is regarded that the judgment is already at peace with the right. They offered barley because it is the first among the grains, since the illumination of the left is the first correction of Malchut, since her construction is mainly from the left. The Creator said, “I am giving you manna in the desert from a place called ‘heaven,’ and you offer before Me barley,” for the correction of Malchut with a barley offering should be from our side. At that time, the Creator will bestow bread from heaven, an illumination of ZA, illumination of Hassadim.

147. It is written, “This is the law in cases of jealousy,” without a Vav [in the Hebrew word for jealousy]. It is a warning to the women of the world not to go astray under their husbands. If not, barley flour is ready for offering, and from one thing, another thing becomes known. Happy are Israel, for the assembly of Israel never lies to the King of the world. The assembly of Israel wonders and says, “Can it be that a woman would go astray under her man?” For this reason, the sentence of an adulteress comes from her place. It is written about her, “Who will find a virtuous woman? Her worth is far above pearls,” as well as, “A virtuous woman is her husband’s crown.”

The holy Shechina, Malchut, is called “a virtuous woman.” She does not lie to the holy King; she will not go astray and connect to another god, who draws illumination of Hochma from above downward. Rather, she is adhered to ZA, her husband, who corrects an illumination of Hochma from below upward, and the adulteress below, who commits adultery under her man, awakens above the shell corresponding to Malchut, called “woman of harlotry,” who went astray from ZA and adhered to another god, who draws illumination of the left from above downward.

145.
