It is written, “I am the lily of the Sharon, the rose of the valleys.” How beloved is the assembly of Israel, Malchut, by the Creator. The Creator praises her, and she always praises Him. How many praises and songs she always establishes for the king. Happy are Israel, who are gripped to the lot of the holy part, as it is written, “For the Lord’s portion is His people; Jacob is the place of His inheritance.”

331. “I am the lily of the Sharon.” This is the assembly of Israel, Malchut, who is called a “lily,” standing in the grandeur of the beauty in the Garden of Eden to be planted, the Sharon, where she sings and praises the upper king, ZA.

Moreover, “I am the lily of the Sharon,” the Malchut, who should be watered by the potion of the deep river, the fountain of the streams, Bina, as it is written, “The Sharon will be as the Arava.” “Sharon” means a land that is a plane. The lily, which is in the plane, is thirsty for water, since the sun is burning her.

332. The rose of the valleys stands in the deepest of all. The rose of the valleys is as it is written, “From the depths I have called upon You, Lord.” The lily of the Sharon is from a place from which the watering of streams comes forth and never stops, the place of the disclosure of Bina. The rose of the valleys is the rose of that place called “the deepest of all,” who is concealed on all sides, from the concealed place of Bina.

333. In the beginning, Malchut is a green lily with green leaves. Afterwards, it is a rose with two colors, red and white. A rose, with six leaves, a rose that changes its colors and changing from color to color. At first, when she wants to make a coupling with the king, she is called a “lily.” Afterwards, once she has adhered to the king with kisses, she is called a “rose,” since it is written, “Your lips are roses.” The rose of the valleys, who is different and changes her colors, at times for better, and at times for worse, at times for judgment, and at times for mercy.

There are two states in Malchut: 1) She is in the state of the two great lights, on the same degree as ZA, who is green, and she is equal to him, but without Hassadim. At that time, she receives from the left of Bina, and ZA from the right in Bina. She is separate from ZA, adhered to Bina; she has Hochma without Hassadim, and she must make a coupling with the king so he will give her Hassadim. At that time, she is called a “lily.” 2) After she descends from Bina, diminishes herself, and has nothing of her own, but makes a coupling with ZA and receives everything from him, she is called a “rose,” changing from state 1 to state 2.

The lily stands in the grandeur of the beauty in the Garden of Eden to be planted. In the first state, Malchut is adhered to Bina; she has Hochma, which is all the beauty of Malchut. However, she must be uprooted from Bina, diminish herself, and be planted a second time, below the Chazeh of ZA. At that time, she comes to state 2, when she must be watered from the potion of the deep river, since in state 1, she is Hochma without Hassadim and she must be watered by Hassadim, water.

The lily of the Sharon is from the place from which the potion of the streams comes out. She is adhered to the revealed state in Bina, the left line, from which she receives Hochma even after she is revealed as the revealed world. The rose of the valleys is the rose of that place called “the deepest of all,” when she suckles from the hidden place in Bina, the right line in her, which is concealed from Hochma, and she receives everything from ZA.

In the beginning, Malchut is a green lily with green leaves. In the first state, she is on the degree of ZA, green, and equal to him, though without Hassadim. Afterwards, she is a rose, with two colors, red and white, and there are Hochma and Hassadim in her, judgment and mercy, which she receives from her husband ZA.
