But he was with him during the day, as well, as it is written, \u201cAnd God met Balaam,\u201d which was during the day. And he replies that certainly, there was looking in the serpent in him, and this, too, is called \u201cgods.\u201d At that time, he was looking to aim the hour. This is the meaning of the words, \u201cHe went not, as on the other times, to meet with enchantments.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnd when Balaam saw that it pleased the Lord to bless Israel.\u201d How did he see? That day, he was looking to aim the hour, to curse Israel, and he did not find, as on other days. And then he saw that there was no great anger in the world. Then he knew that it pleased the Lord to bless Israel. At that time, he removed himself from all the enchantments in the world and did not look in them, as it is written, \u201cHe went not, as on the other times, to meet with enchantments.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>15) When there is anger, the left awakens above. Then that wicked one would know the place to grip on the left side, to curse. At that time, he looked but could not find. Then it is written, \u201cHow shall I curse whom God has not cursed?
