53) Both are the words of the covenant. Even though the words come from the Creator, they are the words of the covenant because good and evil depend on it. Good comes from the Tzadik<\/em> [righteous], Yesod<\/em>. Evil comes from Din<\/em>, Tzedek<\/em> [justice], Malchut<\/em>, and Tzadik<\/em> and Tzedek<\/em>, Yesod<\/em> and Malchut<\/em>, are a covenant. Hence these words are the words of the covenant. And the covenant means Yesod<\/em> and Malchut<\/em> that are tied together. For this reason, \u201cRemember and keep\u201d are Tifferet<\/em> and Malchut<\/em>, which are tied together\u2014\u201cremember\u201d during the day and \u201ckeep\u201d during the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And they are together, as it is written, \u201cAnd there was evening and there was morning, one day.\u201d Thus, the covenant, meaning Yesod<\/em> and Malchut<\/em> together, means that ZA<\/em> is not tied to Malchut<\/em> but to Yesod<\/em>. This is why it writes covenant, since these are certainly the words of the covenant. The admonition in the law of the priests and in Deuteronomy and wherever the covenant is mentioned is in this place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 54) So it is. And this is why the Sabbath, which is \u201cRemember and keep,\u201d Yesod<\/em> and Malchut<\/em>, is called \u201ccovenant,\u201d as it is written, \u201cAnd the sons of Israel shall observe the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant,\u201d and all is one thing. And this place, Yesod<\/em> and Malchut<\/em> together, is called \u201ca covenant\u201d in all the places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 55) \u201cAnd I will give peace in the land.\u201d Peace is Yesod<\/em>, the peace of the land, peace at home and peace in the world. This is so because Malchut<\/em> is called \u201cearth,\u201d it is called \u201chome,\u201d and it is called \u201cworld.\u201d \u201cAnd I also will chastise you seven.\u201d Seven is Tzedek<\/em>, Malchut<\/em> from the side of Din<\/em>. And this is a covenant, and for this reason, they are the words of the covenant. Peace is from Yesod<\/em> and affliction is from Malchut<\/em>, and both appear from Yesod<\/em> and from Malchut<\/em> when they are in a Zivug<\/em> together, which is a covenant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 56) \u201cAlso, when they are in the land of their enemies.\u201d \u201cAlso,\u201d also is like saying, \u201cAnd I also,\u201d meaning ZA<\/em>. \u201cAlso\u201d includes the assembly of Israel, called \u201cthis,\u201d Malchut<\/em>, which never leaves them. \u201cWhen they are in the land of their enemies\u201d means when they are everything together, \u201cI will not reject them, neither will I abhor them,\u201d although I do not join them. \u201cTo break My covenant with them,\u201d for if I do not redeem them then My covenant is divided, meaning the Zivug<\/em> of Yesod<\/em> and Malchut<\/em> is cancelled.
