It is one whole, for the&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, who is called \u201ca name,\u201d is included in&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>&nbsp;above the&nbsp;<em>Chazeh<\/em>, which is a big&nbsp;<em>Ayin<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Israel is&nbsp;<em>Ysrael<\/em>&nbsp;<em>Saba<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>VAK<\/em>&nbsp;<em>de<\/em>&nbsp;<em>Bina<\/em>. This is because there is a small Israel,&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>, as it is written, \u201cWhen Israel was a youth I loved him.\u201d&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, which are implied in the Shema, are in one whole with&nbsp;<em>Ysrael<\/em>&nbsp;<em>Saba<\/em>, ascending to him and uniting in him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHear O Israel\u201d indicates that in&nbsp;<em>Ysrael<\/em>&nbsp;<em>Saba<\/em>, a woman is included with her husband,&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;with&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>421) Once&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;are included in one another in&nbsp;<em>Ysrael<\/em>&nbsp;<em>Saba<\/em>, the organs need to be united, meaning&nbsp;<em>VAK<\/em>&nbsp;<em>de<\/em>&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, connecting the two abodes together in all the organs. The upper abode is&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>&#8211;<em>Hey<\/em>, and the lower abode is&nbsp;<em>Vav<\/em>&#8211;<em>Hey<\/em>. By the will of the heart to ascend in&nbsp;<em>Dvekut<\/em>&nbsp;[adhesion] of&nbsp;<em>Ein Sof<\/em>, it clings there to become one will, upper and lower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>422) This is&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>&#8211;<em>Hey<\/em>&#8211;<em>Yod<\/em>&#8211;<em>Hey<\/em>&nbsp;[will be], as it is written, \u201cThe Lord will be one,\u201d that is, one with regard to&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>&#8211;<em>Hey<\/em>&#8211;<em>Yod<\/em>&#8211;<em>Hey<\/em>. The&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>&#8211;<em>Hey<\/em>&#8211;<em>Yod<\/em>&#8211;<em>Hey<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>, is to unite and to cling to the letter&nbsp;<em>Hey<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>&#8211;<em>Hey<\/em>&#8211;<em>Yod<\/em>&#8211;<em>Hey<\/em>, who is the inner palace,&nbsp;<em>Bina<\/em>, to a place of concealment of the upper point,&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>. This is \u201cThe Lord [<em>HaVaYaH<\/em>] our God.\u201d These two names are&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>&#8211;<em>Hey<\/em>&nbsp;<em>HB<\/em>, where&nbsp;<em>HaVaYaH<\/em>&nbsp;is&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>&nbsp;and \u201cOur God\u201d is&nbsp;<em>Bina<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>423) Including all the organs,&nbsp;<em>VAK<\/em>&nbsp;<em>de<\/em>&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, in the place from which they came out, from the inner palace,&nbsp;<em>Bina<\/em>, to bring matters back to their places, to their core, foundation, and root, up to the root of the covenant,&nbsp;<em>Aba<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>424) Afterwards, two other letters of&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>&#8211;<em>Hey<\/em>&#8211;<em>Yod<\/em>&#8211;<em>Hey<\/em>&nbsp;unite and attach the letter&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>&nbsp;in the letter&nbsp;<em>Hey<\/em>.&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>&nbsp;is the holy covenant,&nbsp;<em>Yesod<\/em>&nbsp;<em>de<\/em>&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>.&nbsp;<em>Hey<\/em>&nbsp;is a palace and concealment of the holy covenant,&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, a palace for&nbsp;<em>Yesod<\/em>, like the&nbsp;<em>Bina<\/em>, which is a palace for&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>.&nbsp;<em>Yesod<\/em>&nbsp;is a second&nbsp;<em>Vav<\/em>, of the&nbsp;<em>Vav<\/em>&nbsp;in its fullness, where the first&nbsp;<em>Vav<\/em>&nbsp;is&nbsp;<em>Tifferet<\/em>, the second&nbsp;<em>Vav<\/em>&nbsp;is&nbsp;<em>Yesod<\/em>, and it is said here that it is&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>, to unite them as one. In the unification with&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Yesod<\/em>&nbsp;is called&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>425) The aim in the word \u201cone\u201d is to unite everything together from&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;and above, to elevate the will, to tie everything in one knot, and to elevate the will with fear and love through&nbsp;<em>Ein Sof<\/em>. The will to ascend to&nbsp;<em>Ein Sof<\/em>&nbsp;will not leave all those degrees and organs but will elevate his will in all of them, not one of them missing, to attach them, so they will all be one knot in&nbsp;<em>Ein Sof<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>426) It is a unification in correction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>427) One who wishes to include all the secrets of unification in the word \u201cone\u201d is better. Hence, we prolong the \u201cone,\u201d [in the Shema reading] to elevate the will to extend from above downward, and to raise from below upwards so all will be one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>428) The word, \u201cone\u201d is above and below and the four directions of the world.
