276) \u201cLord, in Your strength the king will be glad, and in Your salvation how greatly he will rejoice! …He asked life of You; You gave him length of days forever and ever.\u201d David said this psalm in praise of the Assembly of Israel, Malchut<\/em>, whom the Creator delights with the joy of Torah, who is called \u201cstrength,\u201d as it is written, \u201cThe Lord will give strength to His people.\u201d This is also the meaning of \u201cLord, in Your strength.\u201d as \u201cThe king will be glad\u201d is the Creator, who is called a King, as it is written, \u201cAnd there was a king in Jeshurun.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

277) \u201cAnd in Your salvation how greatly he will rejoice.\u201d This is the salvation of the right, Hassadim<\/em>, as it is written, \u201cSave with Your right hand, and answer me.\u201d And His right shall save him. \u201cIn Your salvation, how greatly he will rejoice.\u201d It should have said \u201crejoice\u201d [without a Yod<\/em> in Hebrew], and not \u201crejoice\u201d [with a Yod<\/em>].\u201d The added Yod<\/em> is a token of the holy covenant, the joy of all, Yesod<\/em>. Everything was said about the King, ZA<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

278) \u201cHe asked life of You.\u201d King David had no life at all except what Adam HaRishon<\/em> gave him of his own. King David lived 70 years, and the Creator gave him those 70 years from the years of Adam HaRishon<\/em>, who was to live 1,000 years, as it is written, \u201cOn the day that you eat of it,\u201d which is the day of the Creator, 1,000 years. And he lived only 930 years, meaning 70 short, which he gave to King David. David lived in them and was given length of days in this world and in the next world. He says about it, \u201cHe asked life of You; You gave him length of days.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

279) It is written, \u201cHis glory is great through Your salvation,\u201d for He is great, as it is written, \u201cGreat is our Lord and abundant in strength.\u201d ZA<\/em> is called \u201cgreat.\u201d It is written, \u201cAnd God made the two great lights,\u201d so even Malchut<\/em>, the moon, was as big as ZA<\/em>, the sun. This is why ZA<\/em> is called \u201cgreat,\u201d as it is written, \u201cGreat is our Lord and abundant in strength,\u201d but Malchut<\/em> is not called \u201cgreat,\u201d since she was diminished again. The Creator is not called \u201cgreat,\u201d except in what is written, \u201cGreat is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, His holy mountain.\u201d In what is ZA<\/em> great? Only \u201cIn the city of our God, His holy mountain,\u201d Malchut<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ZA<\/em> himself is always in Hassadim<\/em> that are covered from Hochma<\/em>. Only during the Zivug<\/em> with Malchut<\/em> does the Hochma<\/em> appear in him, to bestow upon Malchut<\/em>, and only one with light of Hochma<\/em> is great. It follows that ZA<\/em> is regarded as great only in the city of our God, during the Zivug<\/em> with Malchut<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

280) \u201cFor You make him most blessed forever.\u201d \u201cFor You make him most blessed\u201d because Malchut<\/em> is the blessing of the entire world, and all the blessings in the world come from here. This is a blessing, as it is written, \u201cAnd I shall make you a great nation, and shall bless you, and make your name great, and you will be a blessing.\u201d It is so because in Malchut<\/em> are all the blessings above, and from here they come out to the whole world.
