Why?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A:<\/strong>&nbsp;A higher&nbsp;<em>Sefira<\/em>&nbsp;means a greater desire and thus a stronger screen to match it. Of course, if the screen is lost, a greater desire remains bare. What\u2019s left is a greater desire for the self than in the lower&nbsp;<em>Sefira<\/em>, whose screen and desire are smaller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hence the rule: he who is spiritually greater has greater desire. And if he falls, his fall is deeper, and he becomes worse.
