You say different things in different places. If there is no connection between the two worlds, then how is spirituality connected with externally observed&nbsp;<em>Mitzvot<\/em>?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A:&nbsp;<\/strong>You are, indeed, quite right. Only the&nbsp;<em>Mitzvot<\/em>&nbsp;performed inside connect man with the Creator. However, observing&nbsp;<em>Mitzvot<\/em>&nbsp;externally also becomes a means for connection. Everything comes through the soul. A&nbsp;<em>Mitzva<\/em>&nbsp;is a spiritual act of giving to the Creator, which likens man to Him. External action has no such effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Creator doesn\u2019t put on&nbsp;<em>Tefillin<\/em>&nbsp;made of animal skin. His action is the Light of&nbsp;<em>Gar<\/em><em>DeHochma<\/em>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<em>Gadlut<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Zeir Anpin<\/em>, which is defined as&nbsp;<em>Tefillin<\/em>.
