{"id":16827,"date":"2026-01-28T18:48:53","date_gmt":"2026-01-28T18:48:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.kabbalah.info\/?post_type=book&#038;p=16827"},"modified":"2026-01-28T18:48:54","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T18:48:54","slug":"malchut-and-the-world-of-ein-sof","status":"publish","type":"book","link":"https:\/\/www.kabbalah.info\/en\/malchut-and-the-world-of-ein-sof\/","title":{"rendered":"Malchut and the World of \u201cEin Sof\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Q: What and where is the world of&nbsp;<em>\u201cEin Sof\u201d<\/em>?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A:<\/strong>&nbsp;We must refrain from interpreting&nbsp;<em>\u201cEin Sof\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;(infinity) as a term of time or place.&nbsp;<em>\u201cEin Sof\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;is something endless, unlimited by action or attributes; hence the name&nbsp;<em>\u201cEin Sof.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spirituality has no time or space. Therefore, these two limitations of our world do not apply to the spiritual world. For that reason we cannot imagine spirituality for what it is. We cannot imagine a cup, that, although filled to the rim, it is still in a state of endless filling (naturally, everything is measured according to the cup itself, because we measure everything with regards to the receiver).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Malchut<\/em>, the soul, corrects itself through the worlds. The worlds are degrees of concealment or manifestation of Light. Time and again, the soul receives desires (which are the vessels) and Light (the power to correct the desire) from the degrees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By using that desire and the Light of correction, the soul, by correcting itself, seemingly rises to the same degree from which it received the power and desire to correct. All and all there are five worlds, within which there are five&nbsp;<em>Partzufim<\/em>, with five inner&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>. Together they make up 125 degrees. But there are still an enormous number of transitory situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q: You write that a \u201cworld\u201d is also every phase of Malchut, of the souls, the collective vessel. Is Malchut a Sefira or a world?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A:&nbsp;<\/strong><em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;is the tenth&nbsp;<em>Sefira<\/em>, the last one after the nine&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>&nbsp;of direct Light that extend from the Creator.&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;receives the Light from all other nine&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>&nbsp;and divides in ten parts. Those ten parts of&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;are the worlds and everything in them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q: Is creation Malchut? And what are all the upper Sefirot?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A:<\/strong>&nbsp;All nine other&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>&nbsp;before&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;(also called the \u201cUpper Nine\u201d) are attributes of the Light.&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;must resemble those nine&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>. The extent of resemblance between&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;and the nine&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>, which are the attributes of the Creator, depends on the power of the screen in&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>. But the resemblance of&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;to the nine&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>&nbsp;exists even with the smallest screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, even a minimal screen should make&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;resemble all nine other&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>. Thus, any spiritual attainment is comprised of a whole picture (which includes all the&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>). A picture with a minimal screen can be comprised of a small number of shades or details, but it still makes for a relative picture of all nine&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just as, when we are born, we perceive with all five senses, regardless of whether we are adults or children, the power (depth) of the attainment depends on the power of the screen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Q: What and where is the world of&nbsp;\u201cEin Sof\u201d?
