Q: Why is Zeir Anpin<\/em> divided by six parts instead of the ordinary five? What is the purpose of Yesod<\/em>?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: Zeir Anpin<\/em> has to be in contact with Malchut<\/em>, in order to convey the Light to her. For that to happen, he must build a special Sefira<\/em> to serve as a bridge between Malchut<\/em> and him, meaning that it will possess similar attributes. For that purpose Zeir Anpin<\/em> consists of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Hesed<\/em>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Keter<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Gevura<\/em>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Hochma<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Tifferet<\/em>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Bina<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Netzah<\/em>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Zeir Anpin<\/em>\u00a0of\u00a0Zeir Anpin<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Hod \u2013 Malchut\u00a0<\/em>of\u00a0Zeir Anpin<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Yesod<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 the sum total of all the previous\u00a0Sefirot<\/em>\u00a0(like a salad made of five original components that when put together, form a new attribute).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    After Yesod<\/em> comes the collective Malchut<\/em> \u2013 the creature, the soul, the part that must unite with the Creator (Zeir Anpin<\/em>) through equivalence of form. Malchut<\/em> is the creature and Zeir Anpin<\/em> is the Creator. Zeir Anpin<\/em> is the one to which all prayers to be raised and corrected turn, and he, at the request of Malchut <\/em>(MAN)<\/em>, builds a bond with her \u2013 contact and coupling \u2013 through his Sefira<\/em> of Yesod<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
