{"id":16965,"date":"2026-01-30T10:18:15","date_gmt":"2026-01-30T10:18:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.kabbalah.info\/?post_type=book&#038;p=16965"},"modified":"2026-01-30T10:18:15","modified_gmt":"2026-01-30T10:18:15","slug":"issachar-and-zebulun","status":"publish","type":"book","link":"https:\/\/www.kabbalah.info\/en\/issachar-and-zebulun\/","title":{"rendered":"Issachar and Zebulun"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>25) It is written, \u201cI have surely built You a house of habitation, a place for Your dwelling forever.\u201d It is \u201cA house of habitation\u201d because when all the treasures of the King,&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>, are deposited in the hands of&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, and she controls them, she is called \u201cA house of habitation.\u201d And there is one firmament, called \u201chabitation,\u201d since it is destined to receive blessings and to put everything in order. And this&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, which governs everything, is called \u201cA house of habitation,\u201d too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>26) It is written, \u201cAnd to Zebulun he said: Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out, and, Issachar, in thy tents.\u201d This teaches that they were joined together. One went out and waged war, and the other sat and engaged in Torah. One gives to the other a share of his gain, and the other gives to the one, a share of his Torah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Issachar is&nbsp;<em>Tifferet<\/em>, and Zebulun is&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>. The sea is in the part of Zebulun, and the assembly of Israel,&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, is called \u201cThe Sea of Galilee [Hebrew:&nbsp;<em>Kineret<\/em>].\u201d And so it should be called, since the azure comes out of there, and azure is&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, and&nbsp;<em>Kineret<\/em>&nbsp;is&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, for it is below as it is above. The Sea of&nbsp;<em>Kineret<\/em>&nbsp;above,&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, The Sea of&nbsp;<em>Kineret<\/em>&nbsp;below. Azure above,&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, azure below, and all is in one place, which is&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>27) This is why Zebulun inherited going to war, since he is&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, as it is written, \u201cThey shall call peoples unto the mountain; there shall they offer sacrifices of righteousness,\u201d of&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, called \u201crighteousness.\u201d \u201cFor they shall suck the abundance of the seas,\u201d the abundance through wars. And the share of Issachar is the Torah, and he certainly gives to Zebulun his share of the Torah. This is why they were associated, so that Zebulun would be blessed through Issachar, for the blessing in the Torah is blessing for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>28) The lot of the Torah is the sixth degree,&nbsp;<em>Yesod<\/em>, which gives the reward of the Torah and inherits to the assembly of Israel, inheriting white, which is&nbsp;<em>Hesed<\/em>, to azure, which is&nbsp;<em>Din<\/em>. Hence, when he distinguishes between azure and white, at the reading of&nbsp;<em>Shema<\/em>&nbsp;[a prayer], when the shades are distinguishable, then it will be called \u201cmorning, and the white will have come to the world, and the azure, which is&nbsp;<em>Din<\/em>, will have vanished. Hence, all of the king\u2019s wars and all of the king\u2019s arms were appointed by&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, which was then called \u201ca house of habitation,\u201d as well as
