42) The patriarchs connect in journeys (in three places), in deeds (raising MAN<\/em>), and in ties (unifications). This is so because in each of these seventy-two names, all the patriarchs, which are the three lines, are tied together. And when they unite, there is no one to rise against them. And in a place where the patriarchs are found, the rest of the righteous are found with them\u2014Moses, Aaron, Joseph. Hence, this name, AB<\/em>, rises and is interpreted in different manners, although all the interpretations go unto another way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

43) There are seven ties to the seventy-two names by which they are tied in each and every connection: the tree patriarchs, HGT<\/em>, and four others, NHYM<\/em>. The Rosh<\/em> [head] of the AB<\/em> [Gematria<\/em>: 72] names is the three Sefirot HBD<\/em>, which are called Rosh<\/em>. They are in one connection with their middle, the Malchut<\/em>, since these Hochma<\/em> and Bina<\/em> are the ones who dug the well of water, Malchut<\/em>, as it is written, \u201cThe well, which the princes dug,\u201d meaning Hochma<\/em> and Bina<\/em>. Hence, the Hochma<\/em>, Bina<\/em>, Daat<\/em>, are in one connection with the Malchut<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second tie is to each other, meaning the two lines Hesed<\/em> and Gevura<\/em>, of whom it was said, \u201cThe one did not come near the other.\u201d These are in one connection, which begins with three Yods<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The name AB<\/em> is divided by ten divisions, in each of which are seven names corresponding to HGT<\/em> NHYM<\/em>. The first three divisions from the name Vav<\/em>–Hey<\/em>–Vav<\/em> to the name Nun<\/em>–Lamed<\/em>–Chaf<\/em> are Rosh<\/em>, HBD<\/em>. The sixth, meaning the middle division is tied to them, and begins from the name Mem<\/em>–Nun<\/em>–Dalet<\/em> to the name Mem<\/em>–Yod<\/em>–Chaf<\/em>, and within them the name Aleph<\/em>–Nun<\/em>–Yod<\/em>. This division corresponds to Malchut<\/em> and is tied in a single connection with the Rosh<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It turns out that the second connection, which is Hesed<\/em> and Gevura<\/em>, from the name Yod<\/em>–Yod<\/em>–Yod<\/em>, to the name Chaf<\/em>–Vav<\/em>–Kof<\/em>, which are two divisions, has seven names in each. These are considered one connection and they are the second connection. And Hesed<\/em> and Gevura<\/em> are both one connection, beginning with three Yods<\/em>, Yod<\/em>–Yod<\/em>–Yod<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

44) The third connection is Tifferet<\/em>, the middle line, the perfection of all the faith. It bestows upon Malchut<\/em>, which is called \u201cfaith,\u201d and complements her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fourth connection is two pillars on which the Guf<\/em> [body] stands: Netzah<\/em> and Hod<\/em>. They are regarded as Netzah<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fifth connection is Hod<\/em>, in which there are good and bad, a river that comes out to the tree of life and death. The tree is the Malchut<\/em>, since Hod<\/em> bestows upon Malchut<\/em>. It is the deepest and has more Dinim<\/em> than in all the Sefirot<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sixth connection is Yesod<\/em>, in which the Din<\/em> is in Rachamim<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seventh connection, which is Malchut<\/em>, is included in the Rosh<\/em>, since it is the middle of everything and is therefore called Aleph<\/em>–Nun<\/em>–Yod<\/em> [spelling out the word Ani<\/em>\u2014\u201cI\u201d]. This means that there is the name Ani<\/em> in her division, which is the subsistence of all the branches that unite around her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The third connection begins with the name Vav<\/em>–Vav<\/em>–Lamed<\/em> through the name Vav<\/em>–Hey<\/em>–Vav<\/em>, since the first three divisions are in HBD<\/em>, and the two subsequent divisions are in Hesed<\/em> and Gevura<\/em>. The sixth division, which divides from the name Mem<\/em>–Nun<\/em>–Dalet<\/em> through the name Mem<\/em>–Yod<\/em>–Chaf<\/em>, is the middle division, which is the discernment of Malchut<\/em>. It is connected into one connection with the first, which is the Rosh<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this reason, the third connection begins in the seventh division, from the name Vav<\/em>–Vav<\/em>–Lamed<\/em> through the name Vav<\/em>–Hey<\/em>–Vav<\/em>. The fourth connection begins in the eighth division, from the name Dalet<\/em>–Nun<\/em>–Yod<\/em> through the name Peh<\/em>–Vav<\/em>–Yod<\/em>. The fifth connection begins in the ninth division from the name Nun<\/em>–Mem<\/em>–Mem<\/em> through the name Ayin<\/em>–Nun<\/em>–Vav<\/em>. The sixth connection begins in the tenth division from the name Mem<\/em>–Het<\/em>–Yod<\/em> through the name Yod<\/em>–Bet<\/em>–Mem<\/em>, and the last two names are included in them, as in seventy Sanhedrin and two witnesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

45) There is one chariot in these seven degrees, seven connections, from the first degree to the last, meaning in all those names that unite in her, as well as from one degree to the next. Each particular degree is a complete chariot in and of itself, and although each comprises the same seven Sefirot HGT<\/em> NHYM<\/em>, the difference between them is that in each degree they all follow the degree that commands them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, there are seven Sefirot HGT<\/em> NHYM<\/em> in the degree of Hesed<\/em>. However, they all follow the Sefira<\/em> of Hesed<\/em>. Similarly, there are seven Sefirot HGT<\/em> NHYM<\/em> in Gevura<\/em>, and they all follow the dominion of Gevura<\/em>. So it is in each degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

46) When these degrees of the name AB<\/em> are present, the whole faith is present, the whole of the perfection of Malchut<\/em>. Also, these seven connections are seven clouds that surrounded Israel, and they are ten because Hesed<\/em> includes GAR<\/em>. Thus, when Divinity journeys, she journeys in the patriarchs, HGT<\/em>, which is the name, AB<\/em>, for when they journey, all the other degrees journey within them. At that time, the assembly of Israel, Malchut<\/em>, is crowned as it should be. Indeed, their illumination is primarily while journeying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

47) Zebulun inherited the Kineret<\/em>, Malchut<\/em>. Hence, Judah, who is Malchut<\/em> everywhere, which part of Malchut<\/em> is in him after Zebulun has taken her? Indeed, Judah took the whole of Malchut<\/em> and united with her on all her degrees in Katnut<\/em> [infancy] and in Gadlut<\/em> [adulthood], meaning in the Dalet<\/em> and in the Hey<\/em> that are in Judah. The Dalet<\/em> is the Katnut<\/em>, before she received the male over her, and the Hey<\/em> is the Gadlut<\/em>.
