23) \u201cAnd the life of Sarah was one hundred\u200e years and twenty years and seven years.\u201d This life is entirely above, in Bina. One hundred\u200e years is Keter, above. Twenty years are HB, above, and seven years are ZAT, above. These are GAR and ZAT of Bina, from which Sarah received life, Mochin. Why is it written in all of them \u201cyear,\u201d and in the seven it writes \u201cyears,\u201d as it is written [in the Hebrew text], \u201cone hundred\u200e year,\u201d and \u201ctwenty year,\u201d and then \u201cseven years\u201d?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
24) The hundred years there include everything, meaning Keter, which contains the ten Sefirot, each of which consists of ten, and they are one hundred. This is so because the place of the Upper One\u2014the more hidden of all that is hidden\u2014is included there. This is AA, who imparts one hundred blessings upon the Malchut each day from the one hundred\u200e Sefirot in him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AA is the Keter of Atzilut. And also, twenty years, which are HB, AA\u2014which is the most hidden\u2014is included in them. This is the reason why it writes \u201cyear\u201d about them, in singular form, which is the unification. This is so because thought and Yovel [fifty years period], which are HB, never part from one another, since GAR are connected to each other as one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
25) But seven years, which are ZAT of Bina, are separate from one another. They exit the hidden one above, which is AA, since they stand below Parsa of AA, at his Chazeh. And the Parsa separates between them and AA. And even though all is one, equal unity, the ZAT are discerned with judgment and mercy into several sides and ways. But above, in GAR of Bina, AA clothes in them above the Chazeh, and there is no judgment there at all. This is why it is written, \u201cSeven years,\u201d about them and not \u201cyear\u201d as with the GAR. And every ten Sefirot of GAR and ZAT are called \u201clife,\u201d which is why it is written, \u201cAnd the life of Sarah was,\u201d since they actually were, created and stood above, in ten Sefirot of Bina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
26) Why does it write of Sarah\u2019s death more than of other women\u2019s? It is because when Isaac was tied, he was thirty-seven years old. And since he was tied, Sarah died, as it is written, \u201cAnd Abraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her.\u201d He came from Mount Moriah, from tying Isaac. And those thirty-seven years from the day Isaac was born until the time he was tied were certainly the life of Sarah, as is the number of \u201cwas\u201d in Gematria [in Hebrew], which is thirty-seven years, from the day Isaac was born until he was tied.
