18:45 What are the global effects of COVID-19?

21:13 Is the coronavirus a curse or a blessing?

22:51 How can we cure the virus as Kabbalists? What immediate actions can we take in order for healing to take place?

24:44 How does connection need to happen? What do we really mean when we say “connection”?

28:52 Is the coronavirus a sign of the coming of the Messiah?

The coronavirus continues touring the world. The restrictions are getting tougher. More and more people are locked in their homes on quarantine. Consumer panic has also reached a new degree.

What conditions made the virus appear at this given period of time?

According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, nature is a single integral system, consisting of inanimate, vegetative, animate and human levels. All levels of nature, except for the human, instinctively work together in synergy in order to support the planet’s homeostasis.

We seem to act completely against nature’s integral laws. Today, with our global industries and consumerism, we are creating imbalance on our planet, and thus receive blows and problems, such as COVID-19, in return. We can see that the social, economic and cultural effects of the coronavirus are much bigger than its health-related effects.

Kabbalah says that this is all a result of the merger of two opposite processes:

The system of nature, including human society, becomes more and more interconnected and interdependent.

The human ego constantly grows.

Both processes are evolutionary, and they collide when they appear in humanity’s highest level of development.

Why is this happening? The purpose is in us reaching a new level of consciousness. How? The growth of the human ego pulls us out of our comfortable coexistence as in the rest of nature, and in order for us to reach the initial natural synergy, we have to connect again, but on a new level of consciousness, which is above instinctive egoistic rejections.

How does the virus help? It leads us to an understanding of the mismatch between our global interdependence and disintegrating negative attitudes toward each other and makes us search for an out-of-the-box common solution.
