Midrash Ruth
1. “And it came to pass, in the days when the judges judged.” The sages resolved the verse where it is written, “When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God cheered.” Morning stars are the holy angels that govern during the day. The sons of God are the holy angels that govern at night.
