When the Morning Stars Sing Together

37. The stars above govern at night, except for those that govern in the morning. They all praise and glorify and unify the name of the Creator, as it is written, “When the morning stars sing together,” and not the “night stars,” although their government is momentary.

38. “And all the sons of God shall cheer.” When the dawn rises, those sons of God cheer in a cheer, and all those angels and stars appointed during the night remove them from their place, and other angels govern instead of them, since they are appointed during the day.

39. There is one star above, and the Creator takes it out from its place. Its name is Vilon [curtain/veil], and it is appointed over letting the rest of the stars in and out, and operates all night. When those morning stars govern, it is concealed and swallowed in its place.
