Shamati (I Heard)

185. The Uneducated, the Fear of Shabbat Is on Him

I heard

Our sages said, “An uneducated man, the fear of Shabbat is on him.” A wise disciple is considered Shabbat [Sabbath], and Shabbat is considered Gmar Tikkun [the end of correction]. Thus, as in Gmar Tikkun, the Kelim [vessels] will be corrected and fit to dress the upper light; likewise, Shabbat is considered “end.” This means that the upper light can manifest and clothe in the lower ones, but this is only considered an awakening from above.
