541. When the Lord Favors Man’s Ways
“When the Lord favors man’s ways, his enemies, too, make peace with him.” That is, the Sitra Achra [other side], too, receives reward for doing its mission, by which spirit was made above, which caused abundance in all the worlds. For this reason, it, too, makes peace with man, as in the allegory presented in The Zohar about the prince and the prostitute.
