608. Not because You Were Many
“Not because you were many,” since when the people of Israel ascend, they are more than everyone. When they descend, they are below everyone.
In the work of the quality of Yashar-El [Israel/lit. “straight to the Creator”], during the ascent, one feels that they are standing at a degree above the general public. When they descend, they see that they are worse than the general public.
