729. This World Is Sanctified by Man

According to the literal meaning, all the matters of this world are bodily matters, and man’s deficiencies, to be dust from the earth. One who wants to be pious cannot, unless he abstains from the pleasures as much as he can and does not enjoy except that which he must for his survival, and then he will be pious, turning away from evil, and with that act he will remain good because it is only the necessity in order to live.

According to the way of Kabbalah, the acts themselves return to being good and high corrections. And since he prepared the high desire, the matters of this world that a person uses for one’s own need and pleasure become sanctified.
