744. Abraham’s Gemstones
Our sages said, “There was a gemstone hanging from Abraham’s neck, and any sick person who saw it was promptly healed.”
We should interpret that “sick” means that his head aches. Each one thought that specifically through knowledge they could achieve wholeness, meaning that they could answer all the questions. But once they saw that on Abraham’s neck was a place of vital breath, that he has Margaliot [gemstones], meaning a Meragel [spy], and with this quality he received the faith, this is why everyone could be healed.
