686. The Most Important Is the Right

Elisha asked the Shunammite, “What do you have in the house?” and she replied, “Nothing but a jar of oil.” He replied to her that it was good, “Go and borrow vessels.”

That is, precisely where there is oil, which is the quality of “right,” there is room for Kelim [vessels], meaning to find in oneself deficiencies. But when a person lacks oil, when he is in the quality of “right,” it is forbidden to awaken the left, meaning the scrutiny, if his work is in truth.
