755. To Enjoy in Order to Bestow
Why is it permitted to enjoy when a person receives the pleasure in order to bestow? After all, why does he bestow? It is because he has pleasure. Therefore, he already has pleasure from bestowal, for if he did not have pleasure, he would not be able to bestow.
Even if we say that he is forcing himself, the question is why he is forcing himself. After all, this is also for a pleasure. And even if we say that he will obtain the fear of punishment, he will still enjoy not being punished. If he forces, since he wants to be rewarded with wholeness, it is also a pleasure.
