“Come and see, when the Creator is with the assembly of Israel, and she evokes first, Malchut is filled from the right side, which is Hassadim, male. When the Creator evokes first, everything is in the form of female, as when a woman inseminates” (The Zohar, Tazria, Item 60).

In the work, a “woman” means the whole of Israel, and the Creator is called “man.” If the awakening comes from above, “she delivers a female child,” called “receiving and not bestowing for herself.” If the person awakens first, then “she delivers a male child,” regarded as a giver, meaning he can extend to himself.

This is when a person overcomes his desire and sees that he cannot overcome and asks for help. Then “she delivers a male child.” But when he waits to have an awakening from above, this is called “she delivers a female child.”
