848. The Days of the Messiah
“Our sages said, ‘Proselytes are not accepted in the days of the Messiah’” (Yevamot 24b).
The Messiah means the time of greatness of the clarity of the brain by which one cannot be rewarded with the eternity of the Messiah. Rather, one converts oneself precisely during poverty. Then, when greatness comes, he is rewarded with eternity.
