111. Nothing New Under the Sun
“There is nothing new under the sun.” “Novelty” means something new, which did not exist until now. “Under the sun” is not regarded as a novelty, since it is natural that one must work for one’s own sake. Above the sun, which is above reason, is novelty, as it is against nature.
