540. Nourishment
Just like a person would die of starvation without corporeal nourishment, without spiritual nourishment, the nourishment of the soul, he will also have to die and the spiritual soul will depart from him.
As with corporeal nourishment, where one who eats a lot of food becomes strong, with the nourishment of the soul, it, too, becomes stronger and healthier so the impure souls cannot defeat it.
