If one is rewarded, his work is done by others, for “When the Lord favors man’s ways, his enemies, too, make peace with him.” This means that the evil in him also returns to the good, and then the words “with all your heart—with both your inclinations” come true in him. It follows that others, too, meaning the bad, do the work of the Creator.
