Daily Kabbalah Tip

Advice in the daily Kabbalah lesson is recommended, practical tasks for advancing spiritually

Renewing the Intention

At what point does the evil leave and the righteous advance?

It is written that at every moment man is renewed and that each day he is a new man. The intention is that we must renew the correct intention, the correct perspective, at every moment. Renewal is not because of loss of memory, but because I receive new Kelim and I need to be happy for the opportunity that was given to me and not to despair. The need to renew is a sign of growth. The place where the evil fail, there the righteous go forward. I forget the previous intention because I received new Kelim, and now I must renew the intention. This is exactly the point where the evil leave and the righteous advance.

Arvut (Mutual Guarantee), Devotion

What are "Arvut" and "Devotion" in spiritual work?

"Arvut" is the connection system between us that on the one hand each person feels himself in it and on the other hand, above the feeling of self, he feels that he is in a strong connection with others. In this kind of connection, that resembles a spider's web, no free movement is allowed.

If a person wants to be faithful in this way to a friend and he wants to be together with the friends as "one man in one heart," also in entrances and in exits, that in all things he wants to be connected to this network, and that except for this network only one point will remain for him, that in it he constantly wants to give himself to this network with extra strength, then this is called " devoted."

To the extent that a person gives himself  to this, to this extent the Upper Light works on him and makes him a part of the network. When a person becomes part of this network, he feels on the one hand devoted to the entire network and on the other hand he feels that the entire network is his.
