Daily Kabbalah Reality Check
Examples in the daily Kabbalah lesson elucidate spiritual concepts through explanations of situations in this world
Communal
Prayer
When we all
connect together in one common deficiency, we will be able to receive the
Light.
In union
there are many levels. In the beginning we all check the goal, the connection,
the need, until we arrive to a connection of desires by means of mutual
bestowing. When we are all in the same desire, and connecting to one great
desire, this is called a communal prayer, a union of aspiration.
It is not
necessary that everyone be in this, but rather, it is enough that part of the
group is. And, there is no need to calculate where each one is with respect to
this. In general, we need to be concerned that in the group, the correct
aspiration will burn. Each one must be concerned only whether he is awakening the
others, demanding them to awaken.
Only a group
shout, as one, will save the situation. A cry by each one alone is a voice in
the desert and is not heard. Only when everyone is together, in one lacking,
one effort, and one goal, only then is the vessel built that will be able to
receive the Light. Then, the Light that returns to the Source can enlighten us.

The
Point In The Heart
What
is the "point in the heart"?
In our world there is a desire, which is
the substance of creation, which doesn't change. A "point in the heart"
can awaken within this desire. This desire gives us the feeling of emptiness
and despair. It is from this despair that man finally reaches a deficit. On
this deficit shines a spark that was left from the breaking of the Kelim (vessels), from the connection between us. This spark is the "point in the
heart."
Before the breaking of the Kelim, we
were connected together in one system.
And the desire of each one was realized through the mutual connection
between us. After the breaking of the Kelim, this connection disappeared; the Light disappeared, and instead of the
connection, a small spark remained that illuminates from a distance. So, all we
need is for the Light to return and to renew that same connection, called "good."
Thus, this Light is called "the Light that Reforms," the Light that returns us
to the connection between us. That connection is the Creator, the Upper Light
that we discover.
